Slumberkins pairs plush creatures with companion storybooks to support children's social and emotional development. Each character is tied to a theme such as building connections, emotional regulation or resilience, and comes with stories and affirmations meant to be read together.
The lineup includes different plush formats, from larger Kins and Snugglers to pocket-sized Minis, plus books, games and kits aimed at both families and classrooms. Sets are designed to give caregivers simple language for talking through big feelings.
The brand was founded in 2015 by childhood friends Kelly and Callie, a family therapist and a special education teacher, and grew from homemade plush at craft fairs into a company headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. The founders appeared on Shark Tank in 2017.
