Guide
When does SNOO go on sale?

Four times a year, dependably: Memorial Day, Prime Day in July, Labor Day and Black Friday. Today the bassinet itself is not discounted at all, at $1,995, but the six-month rental is already marked $399 against a $599 list price, which is the quietest sale Happiest Baby runs. You are reading this at an hour you would rather not be awake, doing arithmetic on a bassinet, which is itself a fairly good argument for the rental.
What SNOO costs this morning
A new SNOO from Happiest Baby is $1,995, with no sale price shown against it. The product page values what comes in the box at $354 and the warranty runs one year. The month-to-month rental is $159, and the six-month plan is $399 where it was $599. Before either rental starts you also pay a $99.50 reconditioning fee and a $79 return shipping fee, plus tax, all due at checkout and non-refundable once the order is processing.
That $399 is the same number The Bump logged during the Labor Day sale in September, which suggests the rental price has simply stayed down rather than bounced back to $599. Treat it as the live price, not as a countdown.
The calendar, written in the brand’s own URLs
Happiest Baby leaves a named page live for every event it runs, all year round, which makes the sale calendar unusually easy to read. This morning the site still answers at World Sleep Day, Earth Day, Mother’s Day, SNOOzefest, a Prime Day FOMO sale, a birthday sale, a tenth birthday sale, Black Friday early access, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Cyber Week, a Cyber Week FOMO sale, a holiday sale and a new year sale. None of them carry dates, and today none of them discount the bassinet. What they tell you is which weekends to be watching.

How big the cuts have actually been
This year’s Labor Day sale was 20 percent off sitewide from September 3 to 7, which put a new SNOO at $1,356 and a pre-loved one at $956. Labor Day 2025 was deeper at 30 percent. Black Friday 2025 was also reported at 30 percent and described as the best offer the brand had run. An End of Summer sale this August took the Certified Pre-Loved SNOO to $956 from $1,195 before expiring on the 18th.
So the honest range is 20 to 30 percent, and 30 percent off $1,995 is $1,396.50. Note that the deepest discounts on record were struck against the old $1,695 list price, which means a 30 percent sale in 2026 would not get you to the dollar figures people quote from 2024 and 2025.
Last verified October 28, 2026
Every price above came off happiestbaby.com this morning. The bassinet page shows $1,995 with no compare-at price. The rental page shows $399 against $599 on the six-month plan. Happiest Baby has published no dates and no discount for Black Friday 2026, which falls on November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30.
Questions parents ask
Does SNOO go on sale? Yes, several times a year. The dependable ones are Memorial Day, Prime Day, Labor Day and Black Friday, with smaller events scattered between them.
How much does SNOO go down in a sale? Between 20 and 30 percent in the last two years. Thirty percent off today’s $1,995 would be $1,396.50.
Is SNOO on sale right now? Not the bassinet. The six-month rental is $399 where it lists at $599.
Will SNOO be cheaper on Black Friday 2026? Probably, but no dates or figures are published. The brand’s own Black Friday page is live and empty.
Is a used SNOO cheaper? Yes. The Certified Pre-Loved model was $956 in the August sale, and $956 again over Labor Day.
Who should buy now and who should wait
Due in the next six weeks: rent. The six-month plan at $399 covers the window most babies use a SNOO at all, the price is already cut, and you are not gambling on a sale that may land after your due date. Due in the spring, or buying for a second baby you are sure about: wait for November 27 and set a reminder, because a 25 to 30 percent weekend is worth $500 and that is a car seat. Buying at list on an ordinary Tuesday is the one choice with nothing to recommend it.
If you are still deciding between the three routes, our SNOO buy, rent or wait guide works the fees through. Happiest Baby’s brand page in the club is here.
