Guide
When does Ruggable go on sale?

Three times a year, reliably: Memorial Day, Labor Day and Black Friday, at 25 to 30 percent off. Right now there is a smaller offer running, 15 percent off when you buy two or more rugs, and no single rug on the site carries a discount against its list price. This is useful to know at 7:50 a.m., standing over the thing your toddler did to the living room rug with a yogurt tube, deciding whether this is a today problem or a November problem.
What a kids’ rug costs this morning
Ruggable prices by size and by how much of the system you buy, which is why the same rug has four prices. On a kids’ pattern like Dinosaurs in Space, the washable cover on its own is $69 at 2'x3', $109 at 3'x5', $169 at 5'x7' and $409 at 8'x10'. Add the standard non-slip pad and the same sizes are $89, $139, $239 and $579. The cushioned pad takes the 5'x7' to $299, and the one-piece All-In-One version of it is $349.
The foam Play Mat is a different product and a flat $279 in its single size. Every variant above shows no compare-at price today, which is the site’s way of saying nothing here is on sale.

The three sales that matter
Memorial Day is the opener. In 2026 it ran at up to 25 percent off through May 27. Labor Day is bigger: the 2026 event was up to 30 percent off sitewide, and the extended days afterwards pushed some styles to 40 percent, which is the deepest figure anyone has reported on this brand.
Black Friday is the one to plan around, because it is tiered rather than flat. In 2025 it was 30 percent off most rugs, 25 percent off Re-Jute and outdoor styles, 20 percent off plush, pillows and mats, and 15 percent off pet beds. In 2024 it was simpler: 25 percent off everything, with selected styles at 30. So the honest ceiling on a kids’ rug is 30 percent, and the $169 cover becomes about $118. Between those events Ruggable runs small, near-permanent offers like the current buy-two deal, which is why the site rarely feels like it is at full price.

Every price above was read off ruggable.com this morning. The site banner is running 15 percent off when you buy two or more rugs, code BUY2GET15 in the cart, with no end date published, and the sale collection is headed “up to 15% off”. Ruggable has published no dates and no discount for Black Friday 2026, which falls on November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30.
Questions parents ask
Does Ruggable go on sale? Yes, several times a year. The three dependable events are Memorial Day, Labor Day and Black Friday, with smaller buy-more offers running most of the time in between.
How much does Ruggable go down in a sale? Between 25 and 30 percent at the three big events. One extended Labor Day 2026 offer reached 40 percent on some styles, which is the outlier, not the norm.
Is Ruggable on sale right now? Not on individual rugs. There is a 15 percent offer for buying two or more, code BUY2GET15, and no rug on the site shows a struck-through price.
Will Ruggable be cheaper on Black Friday 2026? Almost certainly, on the evidence of the last two years, but no dates or figures have been published.
Do the play mats go on sale? Not in any sale on record. The Play Mat has held at $279 through the events above, so there is nothing to wait for there.
Who should buy now and who should wait
Buying one rug for one room: wait for November 27. Thirty percent off a $239 rug-and-pad is $72, and nothing about a rug is urgent enough to cost you that. Buying two or more, which is most people doing a nursery and a playroom at once: the current offer gets you 15 percent today without the gamble, and a 30 percent Black Friday would still beat it, so the question is only whether you want the rug down before Thanksgiving guests arrive. Buying the Play Mat: buy it whenever. It has never moved.
Ruggable is in the club, and the member offer this week is the same 15 percent off two or more rugs the site is running publicly, with code BUY2GET15 in the cart. The Ruggable brand page has the current terms.
