Posh Peanut’s Winnie the Pooh drop is 32 pieces deep

The bear in the crib has one ear left, a grey patch where the honey pot used to be, and absolute diplomatic immunity. He goes to the hospital, the grandparents, the car. On October 13, Posh Peanut put 32 new Winnie the Pooh pieces on its site, in three prints, from $18 to $114, which is either very good news or an expensive morning depending on how attached your household already is.
What actually landed
Three print families, not one. Holiday Pooh is the white ground scattered with small Santa hats, wreaths and honey pots, and it carries most of the drop. Cozy Pooh & Friends is the green one. The classic peach Pooh print got refreshed alongside them, and there is a single Holly & Hunny beanie at $20 that belongs to neither.
Sizes go further than you would guess. The kids pieces run newborn through 10Y-12Y, which is past the age most licensed prints quietly stop, and the Holiday Pooh women’s pajama set runs XS through 3XL at $98. The matching-family thing is the whole point of this brand, and this is the first Pooh print they have taken all the way up.
The nursery pieces
Two, both in the classic print: a crib sheet at $52 and a changing pad cover at $38. A swaddle and headband set is $44. The blankets sit at the top, $114 for the Holiday Pooh Luxe Plush Patoo and $80 for the Cozy Pooh & Friends Luxette Plush, and the $18 lovey is the same print in the size that fits a fist.

The prices, once
Lovey, headwrap and hair clip $18. Beanie $20. Classic bodysuit $26. Changing pad cover $38. Brief set $40. Convertible one piece, footie and swaddle set $44. Two-piece pajamas and the kimono set $46. Twirl dresses $50 to $54. Crib sheet $52. The Pacci hooded romper is $58 and the jumpsuit version $70. Blankets $80 and $114. Women’s pajama set $98. All of it is sold direct at poshpeanut.com.
Why Pooh, why now
A.A. Milne’s book was published in October 1926, so Disney has spent this year running a centenary program and handing the character to roughly every brand that will take it. You will see a lot of Pooh between now and December. Milk Snob, also in the club, put its Classic Tales car seat cover at $39.99 and matching blanket at $45.99 live the same day.
What we’d buy
If you are buying one thing, buy the $18 lovey, because that is the object that will actually get loved and it is the one you will want a spare of by February. If you are doing the holiday card in matching pajamas, the $46 two-piece set and the $98 women’s set are the pair that makes it work, and Holiday Pooh photographs better than the green. Skip the $114 blanket unless it is a gift from someone else. The crib sheet at $52 is a lot for a sheet, and the classic print is the one Pooh collection you can already find in a dozen places.
